Jonathan is an influencer in the justice reform space and a frequent speaker at national conferences. He is a current PhD student and Dean’s Fellow in Criminal Justice at University of Cincinnati examining prison reentry best practices, mental health in formerly incarcerated populations, restorative justice, and collateral consequences. As a formerly incarcerated leader, Jonathan uses his unique knowledge to inform his research and institute change.
Serving as Founder and Executive Director of Florida Justice Center, the state’s only legal aid organization dedicated to helping justice-involved people overcome legal barriers to success, Jonathan positively impacted over 12,000 lives.
Jonathan holds Master of Business Administration and Master of Science in Criminal Justice degrees.
